This is set to 100% (16px) with the default font family (Times, unless changed).

Font sizes - differences at 30px and 12px (shown in a graphics program)

The graphic to the left was created in a graphics program to show the differences between capital M's in a variety of common fonts.

There is a 15px range on the 30px fonts and a 3px range on the 12 pixel fonts.
